Updating

Unfortunately we have not updated this blog in a long time. So here is our attempt. Since Hawaii, we have been to Boston, I have graduated from college, we bought a house, and I am pregnant. Good times. Joe is currently working and going to school so I don't see him much anymore. It doesn't help that I have morning sickness and can't cuddle. :(

Hawaii Beaches

We loved Hawaii. Especially their beaches. Joe was able to go surfing. Found out that my husband has good balance. Either that or beginners luck! Rebekah enjoyed swimming with Dad at Waikiki. She didn't mind the water. I think it was something new. We found out later that she wasn't too fond of waves. I can't blame her, I found them to be intimidating too. Rebekah and I enjoyed the North Shore. Especially, Waimea Bay. The color is beautiful and no waves. She wasn't in the mood to touch the water but we all enjoyed just looking at it. The beaches all around the island are beautiful. Perhaps on the next trip we can go snorkeling.

Rebekah's Vacation

Here are a few fun things that Rebekah got to enjoy. I think her favorite part was how friendly the birds were. She loved chasing them and trying to catch them. Especially at Waikiki. She got just close enough to motivate her to keep going. In the first picture we were at Chinaman's Hat, but she didn't want to go to the water. She preferred sitting and watching the birds run around her. One day, we were even able to take her to the zoo and a peacock walked across our path. I think the feathers intimidated her. She didn't want touch it but pointed and called it 'pup-pup'. All of the animals were pup-pup at the zoo. We tried to teach her kitty, elephant, fishy, and other animal names but she wanted to call them all pup-pup. So we just started saying 'big pup-pup' (elephant) and 'little pup-pup' and so forth. We also were able to go to Pearl Harbor the day before Memorial Day. We wanted to beat the crowds so went the day before. Rebekah managed to find birds to chase. She also enjoyed the ride to the USS Arizona. We sat in back so she could see the splash of the boat. It kept her occupied. Overall, I think her favorite part of the vacation were the animals, (besides having mom and dad around all the time) specifically the birds.

We loved the day we got to spend in Laie. The drive was beautiful. Unfortunately, I had to drive, but Joe enjoyed the scenery. We were able to spend one day at the PCC. We were able to sneak over to the temple for awhile. I am glad we did. Rebekah enjoyed running up and down the steps.

Baby is so close to crawling. She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. She also tries to put her hands or legs forward but usually looses balance and falls. Too close.........

Las Vegas

In vegas we ate at a German Beer House with all of Joe's friends from home. Sam and Rebekah ate the paper napkins. Baby's specialty. Rebekah showed Sam what to do when not drinking.

2 year Anniversary...

We decided that to show Rebekah the temple where we were married. She didn't know what was going on since she was only 2 months old. but we enjoyed ourselves.
